Your responsibilities in this role - Route all incoming phone calls to the appropriate individuals - Use strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency - Help out other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks - Maintain various office files and provide general office filing support - Employ excellent spelling and grammar - Create a welcoming environment for visitors - Structure, filter, and hand out incoming mail according to specified procedures - Put in orders for office and kitchen supplies - Perpetuate a number of different office filing processes and offer general office filing support - Use your excellent communication and social skills- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast paced environment - 1 or more years of experience handling multi-line phone systems (15+ lines) - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must - Strong familiarity with filing - Good understanding of Microsoft Excel - Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Word - Quality experience with editing - Experience with Numeric 6,000 - 8,000 KPH - Practical knowledge of Alpha 6,000 - 8,000 kph - Proven knowledge of reviewing documents for spelling and grammar - Earlier work involving navigating basic office equipment and protocols - General familiarity with MS Outlook - Skills in mail processing - Faxing experience - Previous experience working with internet - Foundational knowledge in conference room setup cleanup - Solid understanding of customer service - Well-founded grasp of email - Enjoys being harmonious and engaged with company customers - Optimistic, creative and tech-savvyOfficeTeam is the world's leader in professional staffing for office support jobs, focusing exclusively on the temporary and temporary-to-full-time placement of professionals in the administrative field.
