DESCRIPTION
At Centerstone, a Seattle non-profit, our Receptionist/Administrative Assistant helps us serve the community by providing excellent client service in our front office with a pleasant, professional attitude. Our mission is to help ensure all people in the Seattle area have the opportunity to be self-sufficient by providing access to basic needs and programs that educate and nourish, creating a thriving community of neighbors helping neighbors. ● Professionally answer phone lines, which include providing referrals, transferring calls, and taking messages
● Thoroughly and efficiently gather client information, assess and fulfill client needs, and provide clients' relevant information
● Manage appointments and scheduling database, and facilitate client check-in/out
● Maintain employee attendance board for all Centerstone personnel daily
● Answer program related questions, respond to clients’ concerns and resolve problems/complaints promptly and thoroughly
● Track, review, organize, and file incoming applications
● Consult with clients via phone, email or in-person to address needs, concerns, and inquiries

The ideal candidate is personable, efficient, and professional. As our Receptionist, you will directly serve the poor and disadvantaged in our community and make a big impact on helping them get back on their feet!

Desired Skills and Experience:
● 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a non-profit environment
● Experience with a multi-line phone system
● Pleasant and calm demeanor in high stress situations and when handling customer complaints
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and entering information into databases
● Highly developed sense of integrity and demonstrated passion for excellence with respect for clients from diverse backgrounds
● Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills
● Excellent decision-making, problem-solving and analytical abilities
● Bi-lingual candidates preferred

BENEFITS
This is a full-time hourly position and the pay is based on skills and experience. The benefits plan is competitive and includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a retirement plan. The position also offers generous paid time off and paid holidays.

SALARY

Minimum: $31,200.00
Maximum: $33,280.00
