The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring that Pike Market Child Care and Preschool (PMCCP) is a non-profit, full day, year round early learning program that believes all children and families should have access to high quality child care and preschool, regardless of income. The Administrative Coordinator makes sure our office is well organized and maintained, providing general office support and coordination, and assisting with HR, finance and fund development projects.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ø Program support: Providing daily phone reception, front office support to staff and families, ordering supplies, updating student and staff records
Ø Finance assistance: Using Quickbooks to generate and send monthly tuition statements and enter payments, make weekly bank deposits for all donations and tuition payments
Ø Fund Development Support: Maintaining donor records, completing mail merges, editing and printing various mailings (thank you letters, Annual Report, Annual Appeal, and assisting with events)
Ø HR: coordinate payroll, managing employee benefits, and bus passes
Ø Media: Maintain and update the website and other social networking sites, research improvements in
Ø Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
· 2 yrs. relevant experience, preferably in a nonprofit
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of customer service
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
· The ability to work effectively as part of a team
· Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
· Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred.
· Comfort with and appreciation of diversity
· Ability to work independently

Salary & Benefits:

Salary competitive, $35,000 - $40,000 DOE
