PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing.

Requisition Summary 13;
The Operations Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the General Operations Manager and Assistant General Manager of Operations. It is also the primary support role for all PACCAR Parts Division MRO purchasing activity.

Job Functions / Responsibilities 13;
:
Handling all aspects of MRO purchasing, including, logging, tracking, auditing purchase requisitions, training others on both the paper process and the new electronic Company Store system.
:
Works with Corporate Purchasing related to supplier contracts. Provides back up for the Company Store administrator
:
Assist the Operations groups when needed, including monthly reporting of PDC performance and coordinating information flow across multiple distribution centers
:
Ad Hoc process improvements projects with other departments as assigned including utilizing Six Sigma
:
Develop and maintain the Operations web site as well as maintain and update DealerNet with operations information including freight policy and customer service updates
:
Manage travel logistics for the General Operations Manager and Assistant General Manager : Operations

Qualifications 13;
:
High School Diploma required
:
Bachelors Degree preferred
:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
:
Strong PC skills including Microsoft applications
:
Self:directed and multi:tasked individual able to address multiple priorities within a dynamic and technical work environment
:
Highly organized
:
Ability to communicate in Spanish, French or Portuguese is a plus 13;
