Duties: * Organizes and maintains corporate financial and accounting information. This includes reviewing invoices, preparing journal entries, preparing cash deposits and wire/ACH disbursements, monthly general ledger account reconciliations, analyzing and recording capital expenditures, preparing intercompany cost allocations and settlement, and monitoring all activity in the general ledger. * Manages the collection of accounts receivable. * Reviews general ledger and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness. * Prepares consolidating and eliminating journal entries. * Prepares monthly financial statements on both entity and consolidated- levels, including supplemental schedules and variance analysis. * Prepares year-end account analysis, trial balances, and audit schedules to assist in the efficient and timely completion of audits by external accountants. Researches and resolves discrepancies. * Assists in the preparation of supporting documentation and calculations for forecasts and business plans. Qualifications: * Understanding of GAAP accounting theory and financial statement presentation, including an understanding of the relationships between related accounts on the balance sheet and income statement. * Capability to prepare and maintain solid audit support for all accounting transactions * Strong analytical ability; excellent problem-solving skills * Bachelor's degree in accounting * 3+ years of general ledger accounting and financial reporting experience * Public accounting experience and /or CPA preferred The Good Stuff/Benefits: * Free parking or free bus pass * 95% medical/dental/vision premiums paid for employee * 401K- match up 4% of your salary * 10 Sick and 15 vacation days as well as 2 personal days Accounting and Finance candidates interested in this and other opportunities please send your resume to
