Field Marketers will be responsible for managing regional Field marketing strategies for their assigned market across a particular region's categories, brands, and products within a Business Unit. Position will assist in execution of brand strategies in stores and lead in providing key insights on customer execution and consumer behavior for their specific market, brands, and customers. Field Marketers will be Flowers Foods' voice and ear for the consumer in the market generating key consumer and shopper insights to help build future Brand, Sales, and Marketing strategies. The position will also develop and execute local brand strategies and serve as an advocate in the field through product tastings, in:store events, and local events.Additionally, Field Marketers will play a crucial role in tracking sales execution and will not hesitate to sell displays out in the market if an opportunity presents itself, and they will constantly search for ways to improve and expand shelf space. Field Marketers also play a vital role in the support and enhancement of customer relationships in key accounts. The Field Marketer will report directly to the Field Marketing Regional Manager.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR DUTIES:
: Executing field marketing strategies for assigned territory and surveying, sampling, and executing brand campaigns effectively to pull insights from shoppers and consumers in each region
: Deliver positive volume trend growth for their assigned territory, brands, and products
: Consistently update Field Marketing Regional Manager on progress of field marketing strategies, voice potential concerns, and share important insights and key learnings in the market to ensure critical insights are communicated throughout the organization in real time
: Function as a leader in their market to provide field intelligence to the Field Marketing Regional Manager on brand perception, product performance, customer specific execution, competition, and consumer insights in market to inform brand managers, sales leadership, product innovation managers, Marketing, and Strategy and Ventures on potential business opportunities.
: Partner closely with the local Sales teams to define and execute programs tied to revenue goals, including but not limited to local events, account based marketing programs, and joint marketing programs.
: Serve as an advocate for Flowers' brands, executing consumer interaction strategies in the market, such as surveys, sampling, and other campaigns to most effectively gather data on end consumer behavior.
: Understand brand vision to execute at the local level and in order to provide direct, real:time feedback on brand campaigns and product changes from an end consumer standpoint
: Develop and execute consumer:driven, locally oriented brand strategies, programs, and events that will increase consumer demand, sales, and positively impact brand equity
: Maintain a consistent presence in customer accounts and continuously seek ways to add value
: Utilize software to track market execution, effectiveness, and frequency of in:store displays and campaigns, plan:o:gram and pricing compliance
: Track performance of competition, seek opportunities for improved in:store strategies, and communicate what is working and what is not working in the market
: Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Sarbanes : Oxley, Safety, etc.)
: Perform other duties which are deemed to be an integral part of the position, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
